Your Ultimate Nasal-breathing Experience (YUNE) was created by a group of dentists that strongly believe that a healthy mind is the gateway to having healthy teeth. That is why we have created Dr. YUNE's MouthTape. We have seen the benefits of mouth taping first hand and want to share our positive experiences with our community. With our user friendly designs, we have made the ultimate mouth tape that we hope you will enjoy and add to your night time routine to elevate your sleep and oral health.
Our mouth tape is made with the same stretchy materials as kinesiology tape. It is 95% cotton, 5% spandex with a medical grade adhesive that is tested as hypoallergenic and residue-free. Think of it as kinesiology tape for your lips.
While the difference between breathing out of your nose or your mouth may seem to be of little consequence, it is actually much healthier for our bodies when we breathe out of our nose instead of our mouth, as long as we are not dealing with nasal congestion. When we are in the habit of breathing out of our mouth, it can lead to several health complications or conditions, such as the following:
• Bad breath (halitosis)
• Brain fog
• Disordered breathing
• Gum disease (periodontitis)
• Poor sleep or chronic fatigue
• Obstructive sleep apnea
• Tooth decay
In children, a habit of breathing out of one’s mouth can lead to crooked teeth, facial deformities, or poor growth.
Mouth breathing can also increase one’s risk of chronic allergies, asthma, hay fever, and chronic sinus infections.

We are currently designing tapes safe for youth, but our current styles are recommended for people over the age of 12. If you have concerns about mouth breathing or snoring for children under the age of 12, consult your doctor or dentist.
For developing children/young adults, sleep tape can encourage closed mouth breathing and help shape their jawline and aid in proper development of their facial musculoskeletal system. For adults, this effect is minimal. Adults who have already developed mouth-breathing faces cannot be reversed by tape, but it can help in the snoring caused by mouth breathing.
We do not currently offer a prepaid subscription option for our tape. This is something we will consider in the future if we see interest. We do however offer one-time bulk purchases you can find in our "SHOP NOW" tab.
