The Fine Print

For patients who have severe structural narrowing of the airway, mouth tape may not be for you. Narrowing can be caused by severe congestion, enlarged adenoids and tonsils, or extremely narrow or receded jaws. 


If any of these are a concern for you, consult a medical professional to see if this is beneficial for you. 


Please avoid using mouth tape if you experience any of the following:

Nasal breathing difficulties, obesity, low blood pressure, cardiac issues, respiratory ailments, colds, sinus issues, the flu, or other respiratory illnesses. Additionally, please refrain from using the mouth tape if you have consumed alcohol or taken sedative medication that result in increased drowsiness or a deeper sleep This style of product is not recommended for children under the age of 12. If you have concerns about mouth breathing for children under the age of 12, consult your doctor or dentist before use.
